Led the re-design of curriculum for a graduate biostatistics lab including: updating existing R code and assignments, creating new assignments, designing exams, and incorporating Universal Design for Learning principles to increase classroom equity, accessibility, and inclusion.

Co-led the re-design of curriculum for an undergraduate Biodiversity lab, including: updating and improving the course lab manual, developing assignments to reflect current research-based teaching strategies, and incorporating Universal Design for Learning principles to increase classroom equity, accessibility, and inclusion.

2013 – 2014

Department of Biology, Coastal Carolina Community College

Led the re-design of curriculum for a Zoology course, including: demystifying science through reading scientific literature and discussing its relevance in society, and integrating experiential learning framework practices through outdoor lectures and field trips to increase student engagement and improve learning outcomes.

2011 – 2013

Department of Biology, California State University Sacramento

Co-led the development of the curriculum for an undergraduate Biodiversity, Evolution & Ecology lab, including: incorporating field ecology methods, integrating assignments to understand hypothesis testing and experimental design, and updating the course to reflect current research-based teaching strategies.
